
About Dawn
Dawn Sopron, LCSW (dba Clay Pot Counseling Inc.) is a Licensed Clinical Social worker/psychotherapist and therapeutic yoga teacher, practicing in Illinois and Wyoming. For over 30 years, her passion has been helping people recover from depression, anxiety, and relational dilemmas through trauma healing. She provides compassionate attention to identify distressing life patterns, release emotional/psychological pain, and integrate new insights and behaviors for optimal wellness.
She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, mental health clinics, and home health/hospice, plus the private counseling practice, Clay Pot Counseling, Inc., which she began in 1993. She provides counseling services, incorporating somatic techniques such as EMDR and yoga, and life coaching services, both via secure telehealth.
Registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT-500) and certified by Surya Chandra Healing Yoga School (CYT-700 hours), she teaches Healing Yoga for Women classes and leads The Sound of Healing Yoga and Music Retreats.
